SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.

SASSA are going to be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it's alarmed with regard to the higher variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA here services.

“This can be because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office devoted to service the area each day. The company level established for intervention encounters a significant influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for that SRD office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to empower sassa status the servicing of all customers and boost use of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
